Final Conference and the online TPM in Germany

✨ What a journey it has been!

Last week we held the final project meeting of TeSTED (Tackling Dropouts in VET through Systematic Students’ Screening) – a moment to reflect on the work accomplished together and the impact we aim to create.

The aim of the TeSTED project has always been clear:

✅ To create a powerful mechanism in the VET environment for the early detection and prevention of dropouts caused by socio-economic difficulties.

✅ To equip VET trainers and staff with the skills, tools, and knowledge needed to support learners at risk.

✅ To transform VET providers into a safety net for at-risk students, ensuring retention, inclusion, and successful graduation.

Over the course of the project, our consortium has developed a complete set of innovative resources:

📘 Baseline Study – mapping early dropout risks and challenges

🛠 TeSTED Assessment Psychometric Tool – a digital tool for the early detection of students at risk

📖 Assessment Handbook – a guide for trainers and institutions on how to use the tool effectively

🎓 Upskilling Package for VET Trainers & Staff – curriculum, training modules, and a Learning Management System to strengthen capacity

KA220-VET-897843E3 – TeSTED

🏢 Intervention Mechanism (Office Model) – a structured, proactive support mechanism within institutions to tackle dropouts

🌍 Dissemination & Multiplier Events – engaging stakeholders across Europe to ensure sustainability and impact

Together, these outputs form a comprehensive solution for addressing early school leaving in vocational education and training – ensuring that no learner is left behind.

A big thank you to all partners, trainers, teachers, and stakeholders who contributed to this important mission. The tools and knowledge developed will continue to live on, supporting institutions and learners well beyond the life of the project.

💡 Here’s to building a more inclusive, supportive, and resilient VET sector across Europe!
