The “TeSTED” initiative stands at the forefront of reimagining Vocational Education and Training (VET) in order to make it more relevant to current and future needs. Through the tools developed by the project TeSTED will help educators with early detection of potential dropouts and provide them with a service intervention mechanism which will help students with support and consultation thus preventing early dropout rates.
At the heart of “TeSTED” lies a commitment to excellence, driven by a consortium of seasoned VET professionals. Together, we’re not just bridging geographical distances; we’re weaving a tapestry of shared knowledge, best practices, and groundbreaking activities. Our mission is clear: to equip VET staff and trainers with the tools to prevent early dropouts rates in VET.
Through “TeSTED,” we envision a world where VET is synonymous with adaptability, relevance, and innovation. Our multifaceted approach focuses on:
a powerful mechanism in the VET environment for the early detection and prevention of the dropouts due to socio-economic difficulties
the capacity of the VET trainers and staff on VET dropout and its social and labour market implications
the VET providers into a safety net for at-risk learners by offering consultation, alternative pathways and securing their retention in, and graduation from, education and training
